The One With The 2012 Summer Olympics

Ok, I miss the Olympics already and they just ended last night. My favorite events were gymnastics, swimming, women's beach volleyball, platform diving, track and field and kayaking. Here's a cute little video that the USA swim team made to Call Me Maybe.....I love it! I can't wait for Rio 2016!! What are your favorite events? What are you most looking forward to for the next Summer games?

The One With Fifty Shades of Grey

Before I tell you what I think of them, what do you think of 50 Shades of Grey? Horrible? Wonderful? Wish there were more? Wish you'd never heard of them? Do you think there will be a movie made based on them? Do you hate them? I just read the first one and have formed my own opinion, but I'm curious to hear other thoughts.

The One With My Music

I recently found out that a whole bunch of the music that I put on Itunes mysteriously disappeared. Like, more than half, at least 3000 songs or more. I have no idea how or when this happened, but I have spent the last few nights (and will spend quite a few more) re-uploading all of our CD's back onto my computer. The worst part is there is no rhyme or reason. It's not like I'm missing entire albums, just a few or most of the songs, never all of them. WTF, Itunes? At least everything I've paid for is safe.

The best part is going through all of our seriously eclectic music collection. Oh, and remembering that I know every.single.word to "We Didn't Start the Fire" by Billy Joel. It's a classic.

The One With Some Goals

I can't believe it's 2012 already.....where the heck did 2011 go? I can't believe I will be 31 in a few short months. WOW.

I am attempting to set a few (loose) goals for 2012.

1.) Read 52 books.
2.) Make 50 scrapbook pages.
3.) Make 15 knitted projects.
4.) Take one *big* trip this year (VA, hopefully) and one *smaller* trip (WI or up north camping, perhaps).
5.) Keep up my healthier lifestyle.
6.) NO purchasing new yarn or scrapbook supplies for (atleast) the first 6 months of the year.
7.) Declutter & get rid of some junk/clothes/stuff.

Have you set any goals or resolutions for the New Year? If so, what? I'd love to hear!
